Then today, I ran a Mythic Tomb of Sargeras for the first time. We just beat avatar, then everyone started leaving the raid for some reason. One player stayed. We get to Kil’Jaeden, and we wipe quite a bit. I of course have never seen a fight like this. I read the guide, and watched a video on how to solo it.

So what I've found is that you need to kill Kil'jaeden before that happens. The phase swap is at around 40% and two of us at ~220 ilvl are enough to kill Kil'jaeden during the cast for the last phase. Just save all cooldowns and bloodlust and everything for that part.
