In my first playthrough i fought and killed Bernard. There's an area in act 3 that i then discovered his head but could not interact with it in anyway. I'm not sure if not killing him changes anything. 1. I found the Arcane Tower, really cool stuff. Got to the top and found Bernard, died to him and his guys before picking the right commands.
