There isn't an oil out there, mineral or synthetic, that I know can't be mixed. You can also mix a synthetic with a mineral oil. I worked on the openings for the reeds, lost a lot of rough machined surfaces, and yes, made sure that the cylinder matched the upper case. At first I thought it was a remote adjustment for the coupling block 1-4 adjustments, but it totally removes the stop blocks in the rear and basically uncouples.
