TOTK is just uncomfortably similar to BOTW in every way. All of that would be fine rly if it took place outside of Hyrule entirely. I get that most Zelda games take place in Hyrule but b4 TOTK, Hyrule was heavily reimagined each time. The Hyrule of TOTK is just the Hyrule of BOTW with imo at least, minor additions.

If your nephew never manually saved, then you can load the manual save slot and it should be your original save, but otherwise it is all gone. This just happened to me as well.If they added the ability to brush and groom horses, and made that somehow affect riding them, it would also fit better, for the same reason. In BOTW, clearing calamity is required to unlock Kilton objectives and reward. So expect it to be handled in a similar manner. As puzzles per game botw and totk are on the same level as older zelda games. But it's because those puzzles are now split that the dungeons aren't going to be as big as prior games. Personally i loved the dungeons in totk. The enemy variety is pretty good tbh too. There are also elemental enemies that depend on certain environments. Also, bokoblins carrying different items to throw is a neat addition in this game as well.
