Moonveil has the same problem with the horizontal slice. if anyone is wondering, i am level 93 and the dark moon greatsword is +10. Ah yeah while your level is a bit above the necessary, your weapon on the other hand is way stronger than it should. Darkmoon +10 isnt the kind of thing you bring to kill morgot.

They scale a bit differently... So, for the Darkmoon GS I would keep leveling INT to ca. 55-60, followed by whatever DEX you can spare. The reason is that DMGS scales best with INT, and then equally with STR and DEX. But, DEX improves your casting speed, benefiting any spells you are using (which you should, given the massive invest in INT). Faith. Moonveil is really fast to use and does great damage. The nerf hasn't changed that in the slightest. I think most weapons are better than the DMGS. Dark moon is pure unusable vs a lot of bosses and it's not just because of the cast time for the special.
