Mounted digsite, mounted xeric's, hell even portals to troll stronghold/weiss are slower than just making/using the consumable tps. You would have to do a very, very (extremely) large amount of herb runs/birdhouse runs for the portals/mounted amulets to be better than using the items themselves.
