Not sure if it'll work for you, but I was able to get past this bug when I had your problem. After killing the walker and it didn't finish the 6th wave, I wandered far enough away from the pillar until it gave me a message in the corner to return. I then started fighting sentinels until I made it to 5 stars wanted level and killed the walker.
Start murdering sentinels until no more show up and the pillar appears. You can periodically grab the supply barrels they drop to immediately regen your shields if needed. Focus the healing drones first, then the triangular summoning drones. Clean up the other floating drones. More specifically, defeating 5 waves just gives you a waypoint to a sentinel nest without them dropping anything.It’s just a normal sentinel raid after that. Lol bro it's not deep, just kill a bunch of sentinels and once you clear wave 5 it literally marks it on your HUD, then you can easily waltz in, go to the terminal, disable the sentinels whilst still getting their loot, read some lore, and get an offer for a new multitool.
