138 posts · Joined 2019. #29 · Feb 9, 2022. Brought me 30 efi to the dealer last monday due to backfires and dropping speed . He called today to say it was a fuel pump or ecu issue and would try to pass it on warranty ( 3 year warranty finishes 19 of march 2022)..
ARIENS Primer Bulb not working. I just replaced the carburetor and spark plug on my model 920402 Ariens 24" snow blower because it would not start. It still will not start. I believe its because now the PRIMER bulb is not doing its job. Mar 9, 2018 · Finally I removed the fuel line from the carburetor and used my compressor to pressurize the fuel tank. After purging the system I refilled with gasoline. It was still difficult to start but it did run. The problem now is that when it is cold out (not necessarily freezing) I have to use starting fluid to get it to run for any length of time.
