Just for the record I have played with both of these, and just sold the Tac-con. The Tac-con trigger has to have the light weight hammer upgrade to really be effective. The hammer and spring it ships with makes the active reset mode almost useless. The binary system is bad ass, but takes some getting used to so you don't jam the rifle.

The bumpstock decision was vacated and is most likely going to retrial. The legality of binary triggers and forced reset triggers is pretty well entrenched by Franklin, Fostech, and Tac-Con. In fact, this exact same hubbub happened when the 3MR came out. 8 years later and its still on the market.
It is a waste of ammo and offers no real training. With the money you save from not shooting rapid fire you can hone your skills to shoot just as fast and accurately with a standard mil-spec trigger.
