Step 2 of 260 is 82nd percentile so that actually makes complete sense, especially given how unreliable Step scores are. I think people forget how much of a difference there is between Step 1 and Step 2 percentiles. 250 on Step 1 is 82nd percentile but 59th on Step 2. Or 245 is 72nd percentile versus 46th. 245 is below median for Step 2!!!!NBME Percentile Requirements.
