Its pretty rare to find a brand new disc with a skip (meaning it loops back on itself over and over again). I get them sometimes where you get a repetitive click, which tends to be a defect in the pressing. Generally skipping is a poor quality table and/or your tonearm isn't setup correctly. Don't use a Crosley.
