Davinci resolve grab still greyed out.

Apr 4, 2023 · In a previous lesson, I went to the Gallery, and then right-clicked on the image to Grab Still. What that's basically done, is made a LUT internally in DaVinci Resolve, which you can then add to other things. Click Clips in the top-right and you'll see a snapshot of the footage appear in your timeline. You can see the thumbnail at the bottom ... Elements (nodes) of the project only include background, text, rectangles, and a "media out" node. I can view the video on my timeline, so I know the nodes are connected to the compound clip. When I try to export, the "Add to Render Queue" button is greyed out. The full res stills are stored separately in the Still path, as defined by the first path in Preferences - System - Media Storage, or manually in a project in the Project Settings - Master Settings - Working Folders area.

I have them synced but the Add to Render Queue remains greyed out when I fill in all the info for a Video File. I have Filename and Location correctly completed.In the Color page go to the video screen, right mouse click on the frame you want to export and select grab still. In the Stills panel right click on the still and export to your desired format. But make sure your timeline is set the resolution of your media as the still outputs at timeline resolution.

HDR out of Resolve needs the Studio version, unless you're just doing a straight 2020/P3 conversion. I'm only able to see that checkbox enabled on my Studio system, and not in the Free version. Options are grayed out in Resolve 15. Nothing under View, nothing under Clip, nothing under Gallery. Read the fine manual.
